Over the past few years, Blondey McCoy’s THAMES MMXX brand has opened the door for a number of collaborative silhouettes with adidas. Routinely combining elements of high fashion with skate-ready technology, the West London native’s latest collaboration as a 3-Stripes team rider comes by way of his affinity for the Adidas Superstar.
The all-new Blondey x Adidas pro model picks up on the same design cues that began McCoy’s journey with the German sportswear behemoth. Fully transparent uppers reminisce on his see-through Superstar from 2019 while gold foil “BLONDEY” branding sits parallel to the “Aurum” or black mid-foot stripes. Bearing an authentic reflection of Blondey’s inspiration within the greater skating landscape through the model’s staple shell toe and synthetic leather eye stays.
